AAA Life is seeking a Direct Marketing Program Manager. This position is responsible for planning and managing deliverables for complex, cross functional direct marketing department programs and ensuring the overall success of those programs. Programs are fast-paced, recurrent and ongoing. The Direct Marketing Program Manager will collaborate with all levels of the marketing team and cross functional business partners/vendors to effectively communicate program status ensure that direct marketing programs are completed on time and as specified.
- Facilitate the ongoing evolution of direct marketing programs to ensure the overall coordination and synchronization of program activities from kick-off to deployment, outlining tasks/activities, timelines, dependencies, and risks.
- Build and lead strong working relationships with internal partners. Develop strong, positive relationships with strategic external partners while navigating through issues on current programs and exploring new opportunities.
- Proactively lead recurring discussions and meetings, including recurring status meetings as well as campaign kick-off meetings and issue resolution meetings.
- Keep stakeholders informed of timelines, deliverables, changes, potential issues, and progress on assigned projects (via status reports, issue tracking tools and change/scope management mechanisms.)
- Manage multiple priorities and scheduling needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Frequently and easily communicate with executives, peers, project teams and business units, including Direct Marketing Operations, Data & Analytics, and Member Relations.
- Identify resources necessary to accomplish project tasks, assist in estimating where necessary.
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes.
- Proactively uncover opportunities to grow current marketing programs and develop new programs.
- Maintain project work plans via project or other portfolio management tool.

Required Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
- 8 years of progressive project management experience using structured methodologies.
- Familiarity with PMI project management philosophies and nomenclature.
- Formal training in facilitation.
- Proven ability to improve performance of organizations through the completion of successful, on-time projects.
- Knowledge of direct marketing channels/disciplines (May have worked in marketing department).
- Demonstrated ability to manage a variety of business projects.
- Familiarity with Jira for managing project tasks and schedule.
- Strong facilitation skills.
- Hands-on experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously in a ‘time critical’ environment.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is highly desired.
