We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate. We have positions in Voorhees, NJ. However, you may be required to work at any of our AAA South Jersey offices as needed. This position requires the candidate to work Monday – Friday 8:45 am – 5:00 pm. This position is an in-office position only.
The Retail Sales Associate supports AAA core business lines, Membership, Travel, Insurance, Financial Services and Emergency Road Service by providing superior customer service to members and non-members. In this role, the candidate will
- Explains the benefit of the AAA membership, sell and processes membership sales.
- Assist members in making travel plans. Advise on auto travel routes, provide maps, tourbooks and Triptiks. As well as making domestic ground travel reservations.
- Promotes and sells AAA products. Identifies opportunities to cross sell other products, services and promotions offered by AAASJ.
- Answers telephones, responds to inquiries and/or routes calls to appropriate personnel.
- Greets visitors, determines purpose of visit, and directs visitors to the proper destination.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the various attraction tickets and provides details to customers to assist them in making a selection.
- Reconciles cash daily.

Requirements:The ideal candidate must have 1-2 years of experience in customer service/retail. Ability to sell products and services to ensure membership and travel goals are met. Excellent customer service focus, ability to read and interpret maps. Strong written and oral communication skills with knowledge of MS office is required.
