Successful candidates will have:

Travel Advisor I

·       2 years of experience in Customer services or Sales

·       High School diploma or GED

·       Travel certifications in the form of a CTA or destination specialist certificate preferred

Travel Advisor II

·       2 years of experience in Hospitality or Travel industry

·       High School diploma or GED

·       Travel certifications in the form of a CTA or destination specialist certificate within two years

In this role, at our store location, you will:

·       Sell international and domestic travel packages, including cruises, flights, car, hotel, and tours

·       Provide excellent customer services under the AAA membership model

·       Recommend and sell product enhancements for the customers’ trip

·       Address any travel-related issues or emergencies that may arise during the trip

·       Stay up to date on current travel trends, emerging destinations, and industry innovations

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Associate or Bachelor’s degree

·       Experience in travel sales and systems software

SALARY:

·       The flat hourly pay rate for the position is Travel Advisor I: $23.00 or Travel Advisor II: $24.00. Placement on rate is based on candidate experience.

·       Eligible for 11%, up to 15%, commission based on travel sales production.
