Job Summary/Responsibilities: Work with a team in the process of manufacturing precast concrete products, including cleaning and preparing molds, pouring concrete, finishing concrete, preparing and wrapping for shipping and loading onto trucks.

• Cleaning the work area
• Work in other areas of the plant when needed
• Practice proper PPE compliance and maintain a safe working record and environment
• Immediately communicate unsafe conditions, acts or injuries
• Work with the concrete to fill forms
• Maintain proper knowledge of all concrete products and package requirements
• Assist with Preventive Maintenance program as required
• Conduct visual product quality inspections
• Assist the Precast Lead Technician in tasks requiring assistance
• Be mindful and watch for overhead dangers
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Other duties as assigned

Essential Job Requirements:

• This position requires the flexibility to work 40 hours per week and weekends as required
• Prompt and regular attendance
• Willingness to submit to drug testing prior to hiring
• Basic computer skills.
• Customer service: in-person and via phone
• Attention to detail
• Math skills for calculations. Comfortable working with fractions, decimals, and basic number calculations

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions

• This is a physically demanding position. The employee will lift and move heavy items throughout a shift, which will require the ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds
• The employee will be working specified shifts and moving around at all times, which will require the ability to stand and be mobile for a minimum of 8 continuous hours
• Facilities can be extremely hot or cold at times, so the employee must have the ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time in temperature extremes
• The employee will be handling materials daily, which requires the ability to use hands, arms and legs to physically handle and transport finished goods
• The Position requires full range of body motion on a daily basis including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting and ability to mount/dismount industrial equipment and vehicles
• Precast experience preferred, but not required

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
