Our Lathe Operators fill a vital role in the manufacturing process, as they complete appropriate and accurate dimensional evaluations of parts produced and tooling used for our products and act as the first line of defense in the quality control process. They work as a team to produce high quality components, catch errors, and resolve issues on the fly throughout each day. Job Description
- Set up, program, and operate Mazak CNC Lathe producing tooling and prototypes on Mazak lathe; small lot sizes, multiple set ups per day.
- Experienced in programming- ability to write a hand program without assistance, download and edit programs and troubleshoot when needed.
- Ability to guide Blueprint Reading and GD&T.
- Have knowledge of multiple types of controls.
- Take ownership of quality control and gauging ability- ability hold a tolerance of /- .001.
- 3 years proven record programming; Mazatrol preferred.
- 5 years demonstrated experience in set up and operation of lathe required.
- Must pass background check and drug screen.
