A pediatric dental office with two locations is looking for a skilled Dental Receptionist who will be the first point of contact for our patients and their families, ensuring smooth and efficient administrative operations within the office. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, be familiar with dental practices, and enjoy working in a pediatric setting.
Offered Salary: $18 - $23 / hour
Working Hours: Monday & Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM ; Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM ; Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00/3:00 PM ; Two Sundays per month: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients and their families with a welcoming and professional attitude
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient information, including insurance details, prior to appointments
- Manage patient records and ensure confidentiality
- Coordinate and manage patient appointments and billing
- Manage inventory and ordering of dental supplies and equipment
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment
- Communicate with dental professionals and suppliers
- Manage and resolve patient complaints and concerns
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Experience in dental office management or medical office management
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in dental software and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Ability to manage and motivate a team
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field
- Previous experience in dental office management or related field
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
