As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. A DSP is responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring safety and well-being in home and community settings.
Your role is essential in helping clients achieve their goals and ensuring that meaningful interactions take place within the community. You will work closely with the client's families to provide this support.

Responsibilities:
- Provide mentoring, support, and social activities to individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.
- Assist with daily living activities such as socializing, getting out into the community, and learning daily living skills such as meal preparation or running errands with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of your client at all times.
- Promote and uphold the rights and dignity of your clients.
- Support the goals of the client, family, and your team.
- Implement individualized care plans and document progress.

Qualifications:
First Aid & CPR Certification
Negative TB Test
Clear Background Check
Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills
Able to assist clients with mobility or transfers if necessary
Able to create and maintain documentation and familiarity with EVV (Electronic Visit Verification)
