This position reports to
HR Business Partner
Your role and responsibilities
Follow procedures and requirements for foaming modules. Fill epoxy resin (foam) machine with pre-mixed materials and solutions to meet the proper ratio in filling assembled modules.
Responsible for entire foaming process including general preventative maintenance. Follow procedures for mixing of solutions to fill foaming machine.
Test foam consistency and chart results. Maintain raw material inventory for foam machine. Load modules into ovens and assure temperature probe is within a specified range before foaming.
Monitor gauges on foaming equipment and re-fills machine as necessary. Keep machinery and foaming nozzles clean. Use miscellaneous hand tools for cleaning and filling epoxy resin (foam), scales, calculator and temperature probe.
Handle hazardous waste from work area to accumulation site. Perform, as assigned, other similar or related duties.
Qualifications for the role
- Require High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with chemicals, preferred
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
