Chemical Sales Manager

Sales Manager, East Region

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. The work model for the role is remote. This role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division in Columbus, OH. You will be mainly accountable for: *Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy. *Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers. *Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market. *Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed. • Associate's degree is required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Direct to End Customer or service is required.
• 8 years of experience in a combination of sales, related experience or education preferred.
• Relevant Industry experience.
• A willingness to be on the road visiting customers up to 60% of the time.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
