What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Care Assistant - Acworth position at Abba Health Services LLC?
Home care agency has an urgent need for a CNA, PCA or Caregiver in Acworth to care for a male client.
Hours are Mon-Fri , 6 hours each day
The CNA or PCA will work 1-on-1 with our client inside their homes, and help them with activities of daily living such as :
Bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, eliminating, transferring and ambulating.
Provide medication reminders to patients
Provide companionship and basic care to patients
Maintain a clean and healthy environment (meal prep, light housekeeping, etc).
Clear communication with supervisors and nurses regarding client conditions and issues.
Idea candidate must be dependable, honest, empathetic, patient, polite, respectful, have strong work ethics and pay attention to details. Must have reliable transportation.
Georgia CNA license preferred. PCA considered
CPR and TB test required
Reliable transportation is required.
