Job Summary:
The Client Services Associate position supports the front-end sales process, the application/client onboarding process, and client servicing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting the Client Relationship Management (CRM) process within the firm.
- Call scheduled leads to confirm upcoming appointments and conduct preliminary information gathering.
- Organize incoming financial information, and prepare materials for Advisors' meetings.
- Manage the entire life cycle of new applications and the movement of funds.
- Interface with Client(s) to review new business documents and obtain necessary supporting documents and or signatures.
- Reviews all life insurance and annuity applications for multiple carriers.
- Maintains frequent communication to manage advisor and customer expectations appropriately.
- Manage inquiries and service requests from existing clients.
- Potential for greater involvement with clients based on performance and business needs.
- Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Virginia Life, Annuities & Health license is preferred. Alternatively, applicants may express commitment to achieve licensure within the first year of employment.
- At least 1 year of industry experience required.
- Must provide superior customer service to clients, prospects and co-workers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail is needed for this position.
- Ensure adequate follow-up and closure on daily tasks and projects.
- Handle confidential information in a discrete and professional manner.
- Prioritize list of outstanding issues to effectively handle urgent matters.
- Feel comfortable establishing systems and processes to create efficiency within the firm.
- Confident with relevant software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams and Outlook).
