Used Parts Runner

This position is responsible for receiving requests for used parts from Sales staff and procurement of those parts for the customer when available.

Level of Authority:

Performs routine duties independently in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Work Environment:

Work is performed in an industrial, non-climate controlled environment or outdoors. The candidate could be exposed to various types of weather.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Procures used parts from inventory for delivery to customer.
• Troubleshoot used parts problems; make recommendations ,and recommend substitutions
• Works with Sales on ‘Lost sales”
• Works with Teardown department on scheduling.
• Follow up on tickets for timely scheduling and shipment of used parts.
• Identifies and locates used parts by make and model.
• Must have the ability to work with the shipping department for insuring timely shipment of used parts.

Qualifications and Capabilities:

Technical

• 2-4 years mechanical experience.
• 2-4 years of agriculture tractor experience preferred.
• Must be able to successfully complete our in house forklift training program.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical

• Ability to frequently lift, carry, bend, stoop, and/or reach. Ability to exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently (Level 4 Heavy Work).
• Physically capable of operating a forklift.
• Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment functional capacity test.

Other

• Able to work alone or with minimal supervision.
• Ability to exhibit good judgment and adaptable to different situations.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, patiently and courteously.
• Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once and to work positively and effectively within a team or self-directed.

Use of Tools:

Ability to use powered equipment, and hand tools, hoist, and heavy equipment.
