Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our healthcare team. The Patient Access Representative will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients and their families, as well as ensuring accurate and timely registration and scheduling of appointments.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and their families in a friendly and professional manner
- Verify patient information and insurance eligibility
- Schedule appointments and procedures
- Collect co-payments and other fees
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in computer skills and data entry
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
