Description

Summary :

The Warehouse Senior Lead / Warehouse Lead will lead the team through the daily activities in the Distribution Center to ensure smooth operations and efficient completion of all shipments, receipts and storage of products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Oversee the shipping process from driver check in through loading and allocation of orders.
Ensure all items in the warehouse are appropriately received and stored in the designated storage locations.
Ensure that all products are properly transferred in the MRP system between plants and Distribution Centers.
Ensure FIFO and stock rotation programs are being followed in the warehouse.
Accountable for leading and developing the warehouse team.
Responsible for ensuring safety compliance and productivity in the warehouse.
Complete daily tasks for purposes of inventory control in SAP.
Confirm processes are run in accordance with SOPs and other documented requirements.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area at all times
Communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all contacts
Accept and adapt easily to change
Ensure that all activities are consistent with Company Mission Statement
Operate job-related equipment with or without an accommodation
Meet physical demands of job with or without an accommodation
Perform other duties as assigned

Experience

A high school diploma is required as experience in an inventory related field, strong organizational skills and computer proficiency are essential, specifically SAP and MS Office software.

Bachelor's degree preferred and / or a combination of education and relevant experience

1-3 years related experience in freight, logistics and inventory management.
