Professional Objective
To contribute your own expertise in FP&A and internal control to a growth-focused, medium-sized organization by enhancing financial performance, ensuring robust internal governance, and supporting strategic initiatives through data-driven insights and efficient financial processes.
Main Accountabilities
- Develop and implement planning and forecast processes including tools and reporting with the units.
- Overseas and support the planning and forecasting process on an ongoing basis.
- Perform analyses of business performance vs budget and forecast and propose improvement actions.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve an effective assurance framework to manage key strategic, operation, financial and compliance risks.
- Ensure processes and controls are designed and implemented in line with CFO and business units’ requirements.
- Support and monitor timely execution of all internal control activities (process walkthroughs, management testing, quarterly confirmations, and deficiency assessments) as well as audit reviews with the business units.
- Support the remediation of any control issues, ensuring the root cause analysis, action plans, financial impact assessment, and quality of remediations are done properly and timely.
- Consult with the external Auditors and support the preparation and execution of the audit process and deliverables. Support units in maintaining proper audit trail and documentation.
- Enhance the level of transparency, knowledge, and maturity in the business units regarding risk, controls, planning, and forecasting.
- Support accounting and reporting on the holding company transactions and results.
- Drive and support initiatives and projects in Finance to drive efficiency and quality.
Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in FP&A, Internal Controls, Financial Audits, Risk Management, Compliance or Assurance
- Work experience in an accounting / audit firm is an advantage.
- Professional qualification equivalent to CPA, ACCA. An additional CIA or CISA qualification is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of internal control frameworks and international accounting standards, such as US GAAP.
- Good business knowledge, hands on working attitude and experience in Finance Planning and Internal Control Improvements
- Understanding of ERP systems, preferably Macola
- Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), French is an advantage.
- Committed to developing and embedding best practice, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work in the US.
Salary : $78,000 - $85,000
