We're seeking an experienced marketing and communications leader (5-10 years experience) to shape our public image and drive engagement across all stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications:
- 5-10 years marketing/communications experience; previous school setting experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Exceptional writing skills with strong attention to detail
- Expertise with Adobe Suite Design and content creation
- Experience working with multiple constituent groups and understanding their needs
- Strong project management and team leadership abilities
- Deep knowledge of Jewish culture and community with the ability to bring authentic Jewish voice to communications
What You'll Do
Strategic Leadership:
- Design and implement comprehensive marketing plan with measurable goals and strategies
- Serve as key school ambassador, fostering relationships with parents, staff, and broader community
- Collaborate with Head of School, Board members, faculty, and administrative staff on strategic communications
- Manage and delegate tasks effectively to a small team
Content Creation & Management:
- Oversee and create all aspects of school website, social media channels, and marketing materials
- Lead content creation for newsletters, grade-level updates, and emergency notifications
- Produce Annual Report, Strategic Plan, and other key internal and external publications
- Create photography and video content, including editing and post-production
Marketing & Recruitment:
- Partner with admissions office to design and evaluate student recruitment campaigns
- Develop digital advertising strategies using Google Ads, Meta Ads, and analytics tools
- Track and analyze engagement data to improve communication effectiveness
- Represent school at industry events and stay current on independent school marketing trends
Event Marketing:
- Oversee and create marketing and promotion for Annual Gala, Generations Day, Graduation, and all other school events
- Collaborate with advancement team on donor, alumni, and community events
- Ensure all communications align with school's brand and Jewish mission
Operations:
- Maintain highest level of professionalism and discretion with sensitive information
- Balance multiple high-priority projects under tight deadlines
- Ensure cohesive, impactful messaging across all platforms
Technical Skills:
- CRM and student information systems (Blackbaud preferred)
- Email marketing platforms (Campaign Monitor)
- Website management (Finalsite experience a plus)
- Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
- Photography/videography and editing skills
- Digital advertising tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Analytics)
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
Compensation
Salary: $85,000–$105,000

This is an on-campus position requiring five-day-a-week attendance.
