Echo Tech Per Diem Days Position Summary
Technician providing ECHO cardiograms. Schedules, prepares, administers and reports interpretations of Echocardiograms, M-mode, 2-dimensional, Doppler, color flow mapping, transesophageal imaging, Stress ECHO and assists Cardiologist.
Special Skills: Ability to recognize cardiac diseases during imaging with proficiency in cardiac measurements. Excellent customer service skills.
THE ECHO TECH PER DIEM DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an approved ARDMS school.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Experience as an Echocardiographic Technician under the supervision of a Certified Technician and a Cardiologist.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Echocardiographic Technician Certification, CPR.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATION: RDCS
