Registered Nurse ICU Clinical Coordinator Full Time Days Position Summary
Coordinates functions and activities related to a single departmental function. Position is responsible for a clinic unit. Position coordinates the scheduling efforts of the unit RN's. Acts as liaison person to internal and external customers (i.e., pre-hospital providers, medical and nursing staff, hospital administration). Responsible for developing and implementing plans/processes for meeting regulatory requirements. Trains and mentors staff.
Special Skills: Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively implement change and assist with the management of departmental budget. Must be able to independently make decisions in high-stress situations.
THE REGISTERED NURSE ICU CLINICAL COORDINATOR FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
Minimum Qualifications: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school. License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona. Two years relevant clinical nursing experience in ICU or ED
Preferred Qualifications: BSN. Management experience or two years supervisory preferably in ICU.
Required Certifications/Licensure: ACLS and CPR required upon orientation completion in the following specialties: ER, ICU, Endoscopy, Tele, Cardiac Cath Lab, L&D. CCRN Certification.
