As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on our hospice team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. Your primary responsibility will be to assist our patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
- Assist with dressing and undressing patients as needed.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for our patients.
- Take vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Monitor patients' skin integrity and report any concerns to the Case Manager.
- Assist with ambulation and exercise programs under the guidance of our hospice nurse or therapist.
**Requirements:**
- Certified and Licensed CNA courses.
- High school level coursework in English grammar, composition, and mathematics.
- One year experience providing patient care in a hospital, nursing facility, or similar environment.
- Current CNA license and demonstrates competency in direct patient care during probationary period.
- Valid Ohio driver's license with a safe driving record and proof of insurance.
