Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support individuals with daily living tasks in their homes or care settings. The ideal candidate will be patient, reliable, and committed to enhancing the comfort and quality of life for those they assist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Support with mobility, transfers, and positioning
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary needs are followed
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help with light housekeeping duties, including laundry and tidying
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or recreational outings
- Monitor and report changes in behavior, routines, or abilities
- Maintain accurate records of services provided
Qualifications:
- Experience in caregiving, PCA, or a related role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage time and responsibilities independently
- Must be able to lift, move, or support clients as needed
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if travel is required)
- Must pass background check and required screenings
