Position Summary
The Administrator will oversee the daily operations of the PAS startup, managing administrative tasks, ensuring compliance, and supporting the team in providing quality personal assistance services. This role requires someone who can work independently, is well-versed in healthcare regulations, and has experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, client intake, and coordination of services.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company adheres to state and federal regulations for PAS, including client privacy (HIPAA compliance) and reporting requirements.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of personal care assistants, coordinating their schedules to meet client needs.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and their families, ensuring their needs are met with empathy and professionalism.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain quality assurance processes, conducting regular audits and gathering client feedback to enhance service quality.
- Financial Oversight: Assist in budgeting and financial management, including billing, payroll, and invoicing.
- Policy Development: Establish and implement administrative policies and procedures to support efficient operations and compliance.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed client records, service reports, and administrative documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and regulatory bodies as necessary.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a healthcare administration or management role, with experience in PAS or home healthcare preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with state and federal PAS regulations, including Medicaid/Medicare policies and HIPAA compliance.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in staff management and team coordination.
- Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with clients, families, and staff.
- Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in healthcare management software, EMR systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Familiarity with EMR systems in PAS or home healthcare.
- Bilingual capabilities to better serve a diverse client base.
- Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare billing processes.
