Hosts are ambassadors for AC Restaurants within our community, and qualified candidates for this role exhibit exceptional people skills, hawk-eyed attention to detail, and grace under pressure. Hosts must create an authentic approach to hospitality through relationships with fellow team members, guests, and neighbors.

Job Description

• Create an excellent first impression.
• Welcome guests and escort them to their table.
• Assign tables, coordinate sections, create and manage wait lists, and maintain communication with the restaurant staff pertaining to all aspects of service.
• Answer phones and provide accurate information to phone inquiries.
• Contribute to the overall dining experience through awareness of cleanliness, promptness, and execution of service.

Job Skills & Requirements

• You must be at least 16 years of age.
• You have the ability to maintain a professional appearance and a positive demeanor in a fast paced, energetic atmosphere.
• You’re organized, dependable, and punctual.
• You have excellent communication skills and proper phone etiquette.
• You have excellent time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• You work well as part of a team and leave ego at the door.
• You are a crusader for kindness and great hospitality.
• You must be able to lift and carry at least 25 pounds and stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Compensation:

• These are part-time or full-time, hourly, and overtime-eligible positions offering competitive pay and benefits.
