AC Swim Club is looking for energetic Swim Instructors that have a passion for teaching kids. If you have enjoy working with kids and teaching a life saving skill this job might be the one for you! No experience necessary as we provide paid training!
Job Summary
The primary role is the professional instruction to students on the fundamentals of water safety and proper swim techniques based upon knowledge of the AC Swim Club methodology. As a member of the AC Swim Club team, the instructor shares responsibility for the safety of individuals in the pool and pool area by enforcing policies and procedures of the AC Swim Club in a courteous and professional manner.
Primary Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities are as follows:
- Plan, organize and conduct quality swim instruction based upon the AC Swim Club Methodology.
- Create a welcoming, encouraging and motivating environment.
- Understand, explain and consistently enforce all safety rules and regulations.
- Maintain effective, positive relationships with members, participants and other staff.
- Open/close the pool and perform basic pool/facility maintenance functions as needed.
- The company may add or change duties from time to time.
Job Qualifications
- Service Oriented.
- Comfortable working with children.
- Comfortable in the “Instructor” role.
- Strong communication, judgment and time management skills.
- Ability to pass a background screening and evaluation.
Schedule
We are currently hiring for our Spring Semester that starts February 24th. We also hope that you can participate in our paid training during the weeks of February 10th and 17th.
Regular Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 3:15-6:15pm
- Weekends 8:45am-12:15pm
Compensation
New hires must complete a paid training program. Once completed, instruction rates will fall between $25-40/hr DOE.
