LOCATION: Administration Office, 600 Edgewood Drive, Maumelle, AR 72113
Academics Plus Charter Schools, Inc. (APCSI) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Technology Assistant II to fill a rewarding position supporting technology in K12 schools. Great retirement plan with Arkansas Teachers Retirement System. Time off during Fall, Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Years and Spring Break, plus 4 additional holidays. Twelve days sick leave, two of which can be taken as personal days. Ten days’ vacation after the 1st year of employment. The ideal candidate for the Technology Assistant II position should have the ability to provide technical support in a responsive, helpful, courteous, and tactful manner leading to timely and appropriate problem resolution or escalation.
QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED required
- Two Years of College, but experience is considered
- Ability to provide technical support in a responsive, helpful, courteous, and tactful manner leading to timely and appropriate problem resolution or escalation
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software diagnostics and willingness to learn new technologies. At least 1 year experience with both hardware and software
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Google applications helpful
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills, with attention to detail
REPORTS TO: Technology Supervisor
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain professional behavior, appearance, and work ethic, representing Academics Plus Charter Schools, Inc. (APCSI) in a positive manner at all times
- Install and image new workstations, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Response to technology ticket request, involving workstations, laptops, mobile computers, printers, projectors, etc.
- Service oriented focus, interacting with teachers and staff resolving technology issues as needed
- Install, test and troubleshoot software applications for instructional and administrative purposes
- Manage and maintain accurate building technology inventory records and counts
- Maintain professional and cooperative relationship with technology team
- Maintain professional conduct with students, parents, visitors and staff
- Communicate orally and in writing in an effective and positive manner
- Maintain a positive attitude, representing the school in a positive manner at all times
- Chrome book repair
- Continually learn the technologies required to support faculty
- All other duties as assigned
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress; maintain a clear focus on customer service; ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
Physical Demands: Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer; frequent interruptions; moderate standing, stooping, bending, and lifting; ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. and to occasionally climb and stand on a ladder
