What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronics/Camera Specialist position at Academy Bus?

Academy Bus is seeking an Electronics / Camera Specialist to maintain various electronics components of modern diesel and electric motor coach bus fleet.

Electronics / Camera Specialist Core Role :

  • Install, uninstall, program, maintain, monitor, repair, evaluate, integrate, and update the various electronics and components of a modern diesel and electric motor coach fleet
  • Familiar with GPS, radio, driver vehicle inspection devices (DVIR), Camera systems, Wi-Fi, DVD players, digital and LED display signs.
  • Maintain and monitor camera system make repairs to camera system as needed. Replace cameras and track with outside vendor.
  • Communicate with mechanics, manufacturers, and vendors to troubleshoot technological issues with equipment and software.
  • Knowledge of Saucon is a plus

Requirements :

  • Must have knowledge of 12 volt and 24 volt electrical wiring
  • Must have knowledge of mobile camera systems
  • Must have a valid driver's license
