Key Responsibilities
- Maintains established medical record files
- Files resident information on individual charts
- Establishes and maintains supplies inventories
- Ability to work occasional weekends as manager on duty
- Receives and distributes nursing supplies
- Monitors medical and form inventories to assure adequate supply levels
- Prepares correspondence, reports, and other documentation for nursing department
- May prepare and/or submit forms and documentation to and/or from physicians
- High school diploma
- Previous medical record experience is required
- Long Term Care industry experience preferred
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
