The Senior Salesforce Developer will support the continued growth of the Salesforce Program by delivering new features leveraging AccelerEd’s agile framework. This role will be responsible for contributing to building and maintaining new and existing product features in our complex salesforce landscape.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to contract developers, ensuring adherence to best practices in code development, configuration, and system architecture.
Design and develop customized solutions on the Salesforce platform, including custom objects, flows, triggers, Apex classes, and Lightning Web Components.
Ensure solutions align with Salesforce best practices and platform capabilities.
Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and design effective solutions.
Ensure high code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Design and manage complex data models, data migration, and data transformation processes within Salesforce.
Implement and enforce security best practices to ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
Stay updated with Salesforce releases and emerging technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance system capabilities and user experience.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Salesforce-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
Participate in project planning, estimation, and management to ensure timely delivery of solutions within budget and scope.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all technical solutions, processes, and system configurations.
Identify opportunities for automation, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Salesforce environment, implementing best practices.
Contribute to building a positive, can-do, high-performance culture by following effective communication.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Skills & Knowledge :
Proven experience in Salesforce development with a deep platform understanding
Extensive experience with Lightning Component Framework (LWC and Aura)
Expertise in Salesforce integration using APIs (REST, SOAP) and middleware (e.g., Mulesoft)
Mastery of Salesforce declarative development (Lightning Builder, Flow)
In-depth understanding of Salesforce data modeling and management best practices
Strong knowledge of Salesforce security and access controls (roles, profiles, permission sets)
Commitment to Salesforce best practices in development (coding standards, unit testing, documentation)
Excellent problem-solving skills for designing scalable solutions for complex requirements
Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams
Experience working in Agile / Scrum development environments
Proficiency in debugging and optimizing Salesforce applications for performance
Understanding of UX design principles for creating user-friendly Salesforce applications
Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Trello, Azure DevOps)
Awareness of the latest developments and trends in the Salesforce ecosystem
Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
Experience mentoring developers and providing technical leadership
Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering value and improving user satisfaction

Experience :
Minimum of 6 years, preferably 8 years, of experience in Salesforce development
Extensive hands-on experience as a developer with Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud
Strong proficiency in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS / SCSS
Proven expertise in Salesforce Flows for UI development
Solid working experience with web technologies, including XML, HTML, CSS, WSDL, SOAP, and JSON
Experience with Salesforce Lightning and migrating from Salesforce Classic
Nice to have experience with Salesforce OmniStudio
Expertise in Salesforce integration and data migration using tools like Salesforce Data Loader and platforms such as Mulesoft
Experienced in implementing and managing installed packages and connected apps
Strong collaboration skills with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, and Partners
Experience with Salesforce integration tools
Preferred experience with Copado Enterprise for deployment and version control
Experience in supporting end-users, gathering requirements, and documentation
Nice to have experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Nice to have experience with Salesforce Education Cloud
