What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Analyst position at Accenture Federal Services?
We are looking for a reliable and proficient Accounting Analyst to join our team in Reston, VA. This person will be responsible for downloading and analyzing various financial reports, supporting revenue reconciliation processes, and assisting with financial data interpretation.
Responsibilities:
- Download, review, and validate reports and update internal accounting systems
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data and identify any discrepancies or irregularities
- Support the revenue reconciliation process by verifying and reconciling data with corresponding documentation
- Identify opportunities to streamline / improve efficiencies in existing accounting processes
- Collaborate with client and internal teams to meet financial deadlines
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 years of experience in accounting or a financial analysis role
- 2 years utilizing Microsoft Excel and/or other financial reporting tools
Bonus points if you have:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines, including those that fall outside of the standard business week (e.g. holidays, weekends)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

California: $117,000 - $214,300
Colorado: $117,00 - $185,200
New York: $108,500 - $214,300
Washington: $124,700 - $197,300
