Job Responsibilities
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of floors, carpets, walls, and furniture.
- Sanitization: Clean and disinfect restrooms, laboratory areas, and common spaces to meet health and safety regulations.
- Waste Management: Collect and dispose of waste and hazardous materials following established protocols.
- Supply Management: Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and report inventory needs to the supervisor.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Compliance: Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, especially when handling chemicals and hazardous materials.
- 1 years of previous janitorial or custodial experience, preferably in a medical or laboratory setting.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and OSHA safety standards.
- Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
