ACCESS (Advanced Critical Care, Emergency and Specialty Services) was founded in 2005 when Dr. Rich Mills, a board-certified criticalist, set out to bring specialty veterinary care to Los Angeles. As demand grew, so did ACCESS – expanding to the San Fernando Valley, South Bay, and eventually, Pasadena and Palm Beach County (FL) in 2021. While the first three hospitals are now part of Thrive Pet Healthcare, ACCESS – Pasadena and ACCESS – Palm Beach County remain proudly independent and privately owned by veterinarians. Our 25,000 sq. ft. hospital is equipped with advanced technology, including CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, a cloud-based EMR, multiple cardiac and abdominal ultrasounds, a comprehensive in-house lab, and several excellent coffee machines. But it’s our people who truly make the difference.

Qualifications:
• DVM or equivalent Veterinary Degree.
• DACVECC or Residency trained in Critical Care. Current Emergency & Critical Care Residents welcome to apply!
• Licensure in good standing to practice in California, or the ability to obtain.
Compensation negotiable based on credentials, experience and schedule with an annual base salary range of $240,000 - $280,000 per year with production in addition (and no negative accrual!).
