Responsibilities

- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health status to the appropriate personnel.
- Provide care for individuals with dementia, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Support clients in community integration activities, promoting social skills and independence.
- Uphold resident rights while providing compassionate care in accordance with established protocols.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that enhance their quality of life and promote personal growth.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and care provided.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home community care or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and first aid practices is beneficial.
- Familiarity with the rights of residents in care facilities and a commitment to advocating for those rights.
- Ability to administer medications safely and effectively as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.

- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
