Entry Level Mortgage Closer

We leverage our built-from-scratch technology to make loan processing efficient for our team and customers to move from application to closing quickly. Since founding in 2016, we have funded hundreds of millions of dollars, and we just raised additional capital to grow even faster.

We are seeking a detail-oriented person to join our team as a Mortgage Closer. The Mortgage Closer plays a crucial role in the final stages of the mortgage process, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurate, compliant, and in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong organizational and attention to detail skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsible for all aspects of mortgage loan closing process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review closing loan documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with loan officers, processors, underwriters, and title companies to gather any missing information or documentation.
• Conduct a final review of all closing documents to verify accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with lenders, attorneys, and other parties to resolve any title issues or closing issues
• Collaborate with underwriters to address any underwriting concerns or requirements.
• Coordinate closing appointments with borrowers, title companies, and other relevant parties.
• Ensure timely and efficient funding of loans by coordinating with funding departments.
• Provide support and guidance to borrowers throughout the closing process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Coordinate with the Title company/Attorneys on outstanding title documents, work on with borrowers, title companies, and other relevant parties
• Work with a post-closing team on any additional loan documents that may be required based on quality control reviews.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Closer is required.
• Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, title insurance, and closing processes is a plus.
• Proficiency in mortgage loan origination software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Desire to take responsibility and step up to help solve issues.
• Proficient in basic math skills for financial calculations
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients, lenders, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
