Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile AI Generalist to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in artificial intelligence and data analysis, as well as the ability to collaborate with leadership, vendors, contractors, consultants, and cross-functional teams to drive innovation and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain AI solutions to solve complex business problems.
• Conduct data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis to support solution development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI applications and define project requirements.
• Implement, evaluate, and optimize algorithms for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Work with large datasets and develop pipelines for data collection, cleaning, and integration.
• Partner with vendors, contractors, and consultants to enhance AI-driven projects and solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and related technologies.
• Communicate technical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Ensure compliance with ethical AI practices, data privacy, and security standards.
• Steward AI spend within the provided annual budget.
• Compare differing AI stacks (e.g. OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Grok) and make recommendations based on product requirements

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Students currently enrolled in a degree program with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience in AI development or related roles.
• Proven track record of developing and deploying AI solutions in production environments.
• Personal use of AI in whatever workflows currently or previously engaged in, personal or professional.

Technical Skills:

• Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages commonly used in AI.
• Strong knowledge of OpenAi Knowledge LIbrary, Code Interpreter, File Search, and Functions.
• Familiarity with OpenAi APIs and custom modeling.
• Understanding of natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or other AI subfields.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
