They recently promoted the Accounting Manager to a Senior Manager role within the company. Responsibilities:
- The month-end process to ensure the integrity of the general ledger
- Journal entries are processed correctly along with the reconciliation of accounts and internal controls
- Variance analysis
- Reconcile cash flow
- Review daily cash accounts and reports
- Accuracy of payroll
- Year-end audit
- Financial reports
- Keep up with new accounting standards
- Training and developing employees
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting
- CPA is required
- A blend of public accounting and industry a or coming straight from Corporate Accounting Manager role prefer Mid to Large size company with revenues over 500 million
- Must have at least 3 years of supervisory experience
- 8 years of experience
- GAAP
- Technical accounting
- Must keep up to date with any new accounting standards
- Process Improvement
- The ability to travel from time to time
