Role Description:
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Tax Intern located in Hyattsville, MD. The Tax Intern will assist with day-to-day responsibilities such as preparing, organizing, and reviewing financial and tax-related documents. Responsibilities may include conducting research on tax regulations, assisting with tax planning and compliance, preparing tax returns, and working closely with senior team members to analyze financial data related to tax reporting. The role provides a hands-on learning opportunity and exposure to real-world tax practices.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Tax Law, Tax Preparation, and Tax concepts
- Understanding of basic Tax Planning and related strategies
- Familiarity with basic Accounting principles and financial reporting
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using tax software and other financial tools is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and within tight deadlines
- Pursuing or having completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
