We provide our customers with conventional and hydro excavation services that include installing, testing and repairing water and sewer mains, along with jetting and televising using remote-controlled video cameras. We are looking for a self-motivated General Laborer who will be cross-trained as a Sewer Camera operator. If you have a desire to learn, this position is for you! Job Duties:
As a laborer/sewer camera operator, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning and preparing construction sites
- Loading and unloading building materials and equipment
- Operating hand and power tools
- Digging trenches, backfilling holes, and compacting earth in preparation for construction
- Laying pipe and repairing water or sewer leaks
- Building or taking apart bracing, barricades, forms, scaffolding, and other structures
- Assisting vac truck operators
- Following construction plans, blueprints, and instructions provided by coworkers
- Operating and maintaining a closed-circuit television truck
- Operating robotic cameras to televise storm and sanitary sewers in accordance with the Pipeline Assessment Certification Program (PACP) standards.
- Operating and maintaining camera equipment
- Paying attention to details, problem-solving, and recording findings in a timely manner
- Following Accu-Dig policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Requirements:
- Must have a class A or B CDL driver’s license
- Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and clean driving record
- Able to lift, push, pull and carry 50 lbs objects while walking on uneven terrain
- Able to work overtime, weekends, and out-of-town as needed
- Able to work safely and efficiently
- Able to be prompt and reliable
- Have a strong work ethic
- Willing to learn and develop skills
- Working knowledge of computers
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10, Confined Space, and NASSCO PACP certificates
Desired Skills:
- Underground utility construction or pipe laying experience preferred
- General knowledge and experience in construction
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team

Hourly Wage:
- $24- $30/hour based on experience
