Position Description: Survey Project Manager
**Work Location: Atlanta, GA **
Salary: Based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interview
Job Summary:
The Survey Project Manager successfully manages assigned projects and provides support to senior managers in the survey department. GDOT experience in procedures and deliverable requirements is advantageous.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Create and manage project budgets, schedules and resource allocation
- Develop drawings meeting the specific standards dictated by the client
- Assist on projects as requested by Department Manager
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Ability to manage several mid-sized projects, multiple small projects or a single larger project simultaneously is required
- Advanced knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and Carlson
- LiDAR collection and software experience (TopoDOT and Pix4D) a plus
- Experienced with GDOT MicroStation/Open Roads Design (ORD)
- Working knowledge of GDOT SUE process
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable
- Attention to detail and documentation
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, employees and the public
- Must be well organized and detail-oriented
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in surveying/engineering or a scientific area and/or equivalent work experience preferred. Will accept two year degree plus experience.
- 4-10 years experience in the Surveying profession
- SIT license
- 107 Remote Pilot’s Certification a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments
- Ability to carry survey instruments and equipment
- Should enjoy working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 pounds

Salary : $60,700 - $76,900
