Job Title: Senior Project Manager-Survey***Work Location: Atlanta, GA ***Salary: Based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interview Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs project management duties and directs multiple survey crews
- Performs in-process quality review of survey field activities, legal descriptions, maps, aerial photographs, calculations, and other diverse types of project deliverables.
- Oversees all survey deliverables that allows for the accurate execution of a project over the life cycle of the project.
- Communicates with clients pertaining to specific projects and attends client meetings.
- Creates project cost proposals and review contracts.
- Coordinates deliverables between clients, teaming partners, and other disciplines working on a project.
- Requires broad based knowledge of all phases of land surveying including boundary analysis, topography, GPS, 3D laser scanning, and construction layout services.
- Assists in preparation and execution of quality control reviews, safety and quality assurance procedures, and the final QC of all survey documents.
- Assists in providing progress and activity reports to management.
- Supports establishing and reviewing processes to meet quality standards.
- Assists in providing insight into identifying and utilizing correct technology, equipment and tools needed for the department.
- Provides training to staff in operations, policies and technical procedures.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree – Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, or related field from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 7 years of prior relevant experience managing boundary, topographic and construction surveying projects.
- Must be Professional Land Surveyor in Georgia, other states licenses are desirable.
- Georgia Department of Transportation experience required.
- Must be familiar with professional survey standards, codes, and survey related procedures for conducting land surveying survey services.
- Experienced with meeting with clients, budget and schedule management and coordinating field staff.
- Must be highly professionally motivated to a high-quality deliverable and possess broad-based knowledge of boundary, topographic, control and construction survey practices.
- Proficient with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Leica LGO/Infinity, Leica robotic total stations, Bentley MicroStation, OpenRoads, GPS and data collectors.
- Knowledge of survey equipment and software, and other essential equipment for field and office work.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $1,200,000.00 per year
