Position: Shipping Clerk

Location: Absolute Lift Parts, East Point, GA

Salary: Starting at $15.00 per hour (Negotiable with relevant experience)

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

As we continue to grow, we are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Shipping Clerk to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Process shipping orders using UPS WorldShip and Quickbooks software.
• Prepare and package items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper handling.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to load and unload shipments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory management.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize shipments and ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding shipment updates and inquiries.
• Utilize Microsoft Office programs to create shipping documents, reports, and correspondence.
• Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines, including working in various weather conditions and environments.
• Provide exceptional customer service, promptly addressing any concerns or issues.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar role is preferred.
• Proficient in using UPS WorldShip, Quickbooks, and Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to navigate and utilize software effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and operate a forklift safely.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with strong attention to accuracy.
• Capable of working collaboratively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and environments.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
