Transportation Dispatcher

Ace Express Coaches is hiring experienced Dispatchers to join our growing organization! Dispatchers play an integral role in the success of our business. Our Dispatchers schedule our CDL-licensed drivers to various charter and contract assignments, ensuring on-time transportation and exceptional customer service! The ideal dispatcher is extremely detailed, organized, and exceptional problem solver.

Shift:

The dispatcher will work 4 days on, 3 days off. Each shift will be 10 hours. Open shifts are listed below:

• Friday – Monday, 6:00 AM - 16:00 PM

Essential Functions:
The Dispatcher is responsible for scheduling and dispatching drivers to the appropriate locations and times in accordance with Ace Express contract routes and Charter services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Coordination of routes and driver schedules.
• Ensuring route/trip documentation is complete and ready for drivers in a timely manner.
• Answering phones and handle client calls regarding routes and service.
• Coordinating with maintenance shop bus repairs, preventive maintenance and washing schedules.
• Reviewing route/trip documentation after completion to ensure all information is included and correct.
• Assisting with monitoring hours of service to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
• Facilitating company communication regarding policies, events/ meetings.
• Other job duties may be assigned based on business needs.

Pay & Benefits

Pay

• $21 - $25/Hour (Experience Considered)
• $2,000 sign-on bonus for full-time employees
• Overtime eligible - time and a half over 40 hours
• Paid bi-weekly

Experience

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2 years of transportation industry experience preferred.
• 1 year of dispatch experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to fluently speak, read, and write English.
• Basic computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Knowledge of the motorcoach industry and/or transportation industry is a plus, but not required.

• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Successfully pass a 7- year criminal background check.
