What are the responsibilities and job description for the PARKING ENFORCEMENT OFFICER position at Ace Parking Management, Inc.?
Pay range: $17.50 to $18 an hour
What you will be doing:
- Ensuring that drivers comply with local parking laws and ordinances and issue citations for violations.
- Patrolling for violations, such as parking in a no-parking zone, expired meters and other types of illegal parking.
- Depending on the assigned location, officers may also be responsible for collecting the money in the parking meters.
- Interacting with the public, providing answers to questions about parking, directions or other information about the area.
- Supporting special event activities, such as sporting events or festivals, by directing traffic and ensuring parking is efficient and safe.
- Traveling by car to different parts of the assigned patrol area.
