Over the past 23 years, ACE has provided more than 80,000 scholarships worth over $212 million. This school year, ACE is serving over 14,000 children in Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming, and is actively pursuing other expansion opportunities with the support of a national funding partner. Position Overview

The Scholarship Program Coordinator will be responsible for the administration of the ACE K-12 scholarship program in designated states, including but not limited to serving as primary contact with partner private schools, overseeing the application and renewal process; student and family survey and other data collection; and working within the data management system. As the primary contact for partner schools and families this position requires a high level of customer service with professional communication over phone, email and in-person. ACE Scholarships serves many English and Spanish speaking families and communities. Additionally, the Program Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the collection of data for potential state expansion.


Primary Job duties and responsibilities


1. Administer the K-12 Scholarship Program

  • Serve as primary contact for ACE partner schools and families servicing both English and Spanish speakers
  • Provide excellent customer service to schools and families returning communication in a timely manner and assisting families and schools throughout the scholarship process
  • Ensure the accurate administration of the K-12 Scholarship Program, in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Manage the application and scholarship process for designated states
  • Support research and collection of school-level data from partner schools in designated states for the ACE third-party evaluation project
  • Conduct exit surveys and other data collection for internal purposes
  • Articulate ACE mission to community members
  • Participate in engagement activity that will create value to schools and families

2. Generalized Organizational Support

  • Assist with processing and delivery of tuition checks, performed quarterly
  • Provide occasional support and attendance for fundraising, community and alumni events
  • Ad hoc projects as directed by manager

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong customer-centric philosophy; ability to maintain professionalism, patience and empathy when resolving issues with stakeholders
  • Experience in program project implementation
  • Knowledge and passion for school choice and ACE Scholarship’s mission
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
  • Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite, high comfort level with database and CRM systems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and activities
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to identify problems and develop and implement solutions
  • Ability to communicate and adjust workflow to accommodate schools and families during seasons of high volume
  • Experience managing data and reporting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Bi-lingual in Spanish is desired but not required. 

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in customer service, non-profit administration, hospitality, or other related fields
  • Personal and professional integrity

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to travel out of state (<10%)

Location and Reporting

  • Position will be based in ACE Scholarships’ Denver Office (Greenwood Village, CO/Denver Tech Center)
  • Hybrid work environment with some option to work remote after training period
  • Reports to Director of Private Scholarship Programs

Compensation & Benefits:

$55,500.00 base salary and benefits package, including but not limited to:
