What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Support Specialist position at Ace Staffing Inc.?
Job Description:
- Entering information into a specialized data surveillance database (ShowMe World Care).
- Assist with problem solving by researching/looking into issues with reportable data. This may include but not be limited to: a. Problem-solve issues with reportable environmental conditions of child and/or adult blood lead laboratory reports. b. Phone calls to health care providers for additional data. c. Requesting medical records from health care providers. d. Manual entry of data with results obtained.
- Assist with routing and dissemination of numerous daily laboratory reports by reviewing, categorizing, and saving to the appropriate folder for staff processing.
- Dress code is business casual.
Must have experience with the following:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience with data entry into a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Experience reading/interpreting laboratory test result reports and manual entry of laboratory results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer service skills.
- With experience working with environmental lead data.
- With prior Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services work experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
