Job Overview
We are a small company in business for over 20 years. We are currently seeking a highly skilled cabinet and display carpenter to join our creative and talented team. We offer competitive pay and a generous benefit package. We are looking for the right individual to support the fabrication of custom trade show exhibits, themed environments, and museum displays. Requires cabinet and display making skills to cut, assemble and finish various materials such as solid wood, plywood, various plastics, laminate, and acrylic laminate using hand and power tools to fabricate custom tradeshow exhibits from blueprints.
Experience and Responsibilities
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of detailed work experience in cabinet and display making carpentry.
- Must have cabinetmaking/carpentry skills of cutting, joining and preparing wood, plywood, and various plastics using power tools and hand tools.
- Must be able to read and understand schematic CAD drawings and shop drawings.
- Possess basic math and reading skills and be detail oriented.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Must have legible printing.
- Must be able to provide personal basic hand tools.
- Able to work overtime as required and have the flexibility to work additional hours and weekends.
- Travel as necessary to off-site locations for product installations.

- A high school diploma or GED is required.
Physical Requirements
A successful candidate must have the ability to stand, stoop, kneel or bend for extended periods of time. Lifting above the shoulders and head is required along with the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Must be able work from ladders and high platforms to assemble and dismantle exhibits before and after a show.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
