Leads capital equipment projects from concept through commissioning, overseeing scope, budget, schedule, and execution. Coordinates cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver safe, compliant, and cost-effective machinery solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop project plans, budgets, schedules, and risk registers for capital equipment acquisition and implementation.
- Lead RFQ/RFP processes, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management.
- Manage day-to-day project execution, resources, and progress across cost, schedule, quality, and safety.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external contractors.
- Identify and mitigate risks, manage scope changes, and ensure compliance with EHS and regulatory standards.
- Track project financials, forecast costs, and report on performance.
- Oversee project closeout, documentation handover, and end-user training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing complex capital equipment projects, including specification, installation, and commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, contract management, and vendor negotiations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with project management and financial tracking tools.
- Ability to work in both office and field environments.
Compensation
- $90,000–$150,000 base salary, plus benefits and a typical ±10% annual bonus.
