This Equipment Sales position earns a competitive salary. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF EQUIPMENT SALES
In Equipment Sales, every day is a dynamic mix of sales and customer support. You greet and welcome customers while providing expert guidance on our industrial, construction, and agricultural equipment offerings. Your role includes prospecting for new accounts and nurturing existing customer relationships through a consultative sales approach, allowing you to make tailored recommendations to meet customers’ needs. You also often conduct product demonstrations before sales and guide customers through starting procedures and breaking-in periods after purchase. You handle incoming calls and internet leads and enter/update sales orders while obtaining shipping quotes and registering products for warranty. You facilitate financing for new and used equipment purchases and arrange for service work when needed. Ensuring customer satisfaction is a priority, and you follow up after sales, resolving any issues to maintain strong customer relationships. Additionally, you participate in various store events and complete various administrative duties, such as organizing payments and managing office supplies. In Equipment Sales, you prioritize safety standards while completing assigned tasks efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Previous sales experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software
- The ability to work a rotating Saturday shift
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand on a hard surface for extended periods of time
- Look at a computer screen for extended periods of time
- Bend, squat, pull, push, and reach throughout your shift
