Pumpkin Patch is a family owned and operated small childcare center located in the heart of Cromwell. Lead Teachers are responsible for the care, supervision and management of the classroom in accordance with the State of Connecticut Child Day Care Center Statutes and Regulations. Principal duties include, but are not limited to, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children, implementing a developmentally appropriate play-based curriculum, forming nurturing bonds with each child, fostering children's cognitive, physical, language, and social and emotional development. Teachers are expected to communicate professionally and positively with coworkers and families and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Duties
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills
- Build nurturing and strong attachments with each child and positive relationships with families
- Maintain a safe classroom environment
- Foster and monitor each child's physical, cognitive, language, and social/emotional development
- Implement a developmentally appropriate play-based curriculum that is age appropriate for infants
- Demonstrate strong organizational and planning skills
- Contribute to positive workplace culture and possess growth mindset
- High School Diploma or 18 years of age
- Ability to work well with others
- Professionalism, punctuality, reliability
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Must clear full background check.
- Must pass health screening
- Experience as lead teacher in the field of Early Childhood Education ideally with the infant age
