The main responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in receiving stock and non-stock items for the purpose of ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct
- Transporting and delivering a variety of items to clients (e.g. Durable Medical Equipment, boxes, packages, cargo, furniture, equipment, etc.) for the purpose of distributing items from internal or external sources over scheduled and/or unscheduled routes to assigned locations and/or individuals
- Driving vehicles for the purpose of transporting orders and materials to designated sites and residences
- Maintaining delivery vehicles (e.g. checking fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safe operation of vehicle
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks for the purpose of receiving stock and/or filling orders for transport
- Inventory maintenance
This position requires a passion for serving others, great communication skills, and attention to detail. The ability to communicate effectively is key as you will educate customers and their caregivers on the use and care of their medical equipment and supplies. Previous medical equipment experience is not required.
Must be able to lift more than 50lbs.
Weekly Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
There may be times when the Delivery Driver is asked to work later than 4:30pm to take care of our patients immediate need for medical equipment.
All qualified applicants will be required to possess a valid driver's license and pass a background check and drug test.
