Agronomist

Description

● Design, set up, and conduct field trials to evaluate the effectiveness of fertilizer.

● Work closely with farmers, researchers, and the business development team to implement trials in diverse agricultural settings.

● Collect, analyze, and interpret agronomic data to assess the fertilizer performance under various field conditions.

● Document and report trial results, including yield, crop health, and environmental impact assessments.

● Communicate findings through technical reports, presentations, and stakeholder meetings.

● Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best agronomic practices in all trials.

● Provide technical support to the marketing team to enhance customer engagement and product positioning.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

● Bachelor’s or Master’s in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, or a related field.

● Prior experience in field trials, research, or agricultural extension services is highly desirable. CCA preferred.

● Strong understanding of crop production, soil health, and agricultural technologies.

● Ability to work independently in field environments and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

● Proficiency in data collection tools and software for field research.

● Strong communication and presentation skills for technical and business audiences.

● Willingness to travel to different trial locations as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
