Job Description
Client is seeking a designer who is extremely competent in all conventional aspects of architecture. Designer will be responsible for design development and construction document production and specifications for civic and commercial projects of medium size and magnitude. Designer will coordinate the needs of the client, technical staff, interior designers and outside consultants and will perform work requiring independent judgment, evaluation, selection and modification of standard techniques with limited guidance from project manager, and will contribute to all phases of marketing, presentation and client relationships.
The optimal candidate will have experience supervising of one or more design professionals and/or production teams, communicating with client contacts on medium sized projects and being the primary consultant point of contact. Experience facilitating project meetings and presentations, compliance of project certifications (LEED, Earth Advantage, etc.), code compliance, cost estimating, construction administration, site visits and field reports is also required.
